About us
We are the people who finish the work.
Fiveyards Media is an independent creative and media studio in Sharjah. We are small, we write things down, and we stay on a project until the files are usable by the team that has to publish them.

Where this came from
Built around the part everyone skips.
The studio started the way most useful things do — from frustration. Between us we had spent years inside agencies and in-house marketing teams watching good ideas lose their shape somewhere between the pitch deck and the published post. The thinking was sound. The photography was fine. What was missing was the last stretch: the unglamorous distance where a concept becomes a set of files a brand can actually use, on the days it needs them.
So we built a studio around that stretch. No account layer between the client and the people making the work. No decks written to be admired rather than acted on. A written scope before anything is shot or designed, so that the conversation about money happens once, early, and in plain language.
We chose Sharjah deliberately. It puts us within an hour of most locations, crews and suppliers across the Northern Emirates and Dubai, and it keeps our overheads honest — which is why a studio of our size can afford to spend two days planning a shoot that a larger outfit would rush in half a morning.
The name is the shorthand: the last five yards, where an idea either becomes something usable or quietly falls short.

What we hold to
Four things we will not trade away.
The brief is the work
Most projects fail before a camera comes out. We spend real time on the objective, the audience and the constraint, and we put it in writing so both sides can point at the same paragraph three weeks later.
Fewer clients, more attention
We hold a small number of engagements at any one time. It limits how fast we grow. It also means the person who scoped your project is the person on set and in the edit.
No surprises on the invoice
Fees, inclusions, revision rounds and what triggers additional cost are agreed before production. If something changes mid-project, we say so at the time — not in a final invoice.
Made to be used, not admired
Work is delivered in the sizes, formats and file structures your team actually publishes with, named sensibly, with the notes needed to keep it consistent after we step away.
The people
A small team, listed by what they do.
We publish roles rather than personal profiles. You will meet the individuals on the first call, and the same people stay on the project through to handover.
Creative direction
Holds the argument of a project: what it is saying, to whom, and whether the visual answer is doing that job. Signs off direction before production is booked.
Editorial and copy
Writes positioning, campaign lines and long-form editorial. Also writes the scope documents — which is deliberate, because the person who explains the work should be able to explain the cost of it.
Photography and film
Plans and shoots on location and in studio. Runs shot lists, permits, call sheets and continuity, and stays through grade and retouch so the intent survives post.
Design and delivery
Turns approved direction into layouts, cutdowns and asset kits, then packages everything for handover with naming, licensing and usage notes attached.
Production coordination
Scheduling, crew, suppliers, locations and the paperwork that keeps a UAE shoot legal and on time. The reason our shoot days start when we said they would.
Trusted collaborators
Stylists, retouchers, motion designers, voice talent and translators are engaged per project under our direction — named in the scope rather than hidden behind it.
- 01
A first conversation
Thirty to forty-five minutes, no charge, usually enough to tell whether we are the right studio for the problem. If we are not, we will say so and point elsewhere.
- 02
A written scope
Objective, deliverables, review points, timings, ownership and fee — in one document you can circulate internally without needing us in the room.
- 03
Production
Planned against the scope, with agreed review points rather than a stream of half-finished work. Changes are discussed as they arise.
- 04
Handover
Final files, organised and licensed, with usage notes. We stay reachable afterwards for questions about how to use what we made.
